Sure, major updates are nice, but it's the hotfix release immediately following that I'm interested in. So hot on the heels of Flutter 2.2 is Flutter 2.2.1, which fixes my iOS builds.

Here are the details from the flutter announce group, which I now realize I need to join in order to get this info.

Hello,

Flutter 2.2.1 has been released to the stable channel. This is a hotfix release that addresses the following issues:

In Dart:

  • #45907 ec48e8f - DDC: Fix missing nullability from recursive type hierarchies
  • #45990 [CP][stable channel] Bug-fix for bug in CastMap

In Flutter:

  • #80978 “Command PhaseScriptExecution failed with a nonzero exit code” Failed to codesign App.framework/App: resource fork, Finder information, or similar detritus not allowed
  • #52106 [WEB]: Accessibility focus border doesn’t follow when navigating through interactive elements with tab key
  • #82768 - [web] svgClip "leak" in canvaskit renderer

You can upgrade Flutter in the stable channel by running:

flutter channel stable

flutter upgrade
